Mission
The Communications Department at Hartwell First Methodist Church exists to glorify God and advance His kingdom through intentional communication that serves at the crossroads of information and creativity. The Communications Department is designed to help HFMC's ministries tell their stories as well as think through the overall communication strategies of the church to ensure intentional communication. How we communicate influences how our people interact with the church, one another, and the world.

Policies & Instructions
The purpose of the Communications Request Forms is to help make it easier to promote your event, ministry, etc. These forms assist the Communications Department in seeing the big picture of the event/project before it happens so all questions can be answered ahead of time. By filling out a form, many processes can be streamlined.
ONLY in the event that a form is malfunctioning, or you are uncomfortable utilizing the online version, you may either email your information to Sierra at communications@hartwellfirstmethodist or physical copies are available for pick up at the Communications Coordinator's office in the HFMC Administrative Building.
Ministries are responsible for creating their own graphics, however, if you need graphic design assistance, you can request help via email prior to filling out a form. Please allow 5 business days for production turnaround.

Ex: If content is determined to be better served as an internal ministry announcement rather than church-wide/general, it may be featured in the slideshow but not necessarily the Sunday announcements despite being requested.
