Thank you for your interest in God's Gifts Weekday Preschool at Hartwell First Methodist Church
We offer a weekday program in a loving, nurturing, Christian environment for children who are two years old through pre-K. We provide each child the opportunity to develop physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually. Our Preschool is a ministry of Hartwell First Methodist Church.

The goal of God’s Gifts Weekday Preschool is to help each child to experience Christ while developing spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically in order to reach their full potential.
Registration
Registration for the 2026-27 school year will be available February 23-March 13 for current students and their siblings, as well as church members. Open registration will begin March 16 at noon. Classes range in age from two year olds (must be two by August 6, 2026) to pre-K. Registration fee is non-refundable. Tours are available by appointment only. Schedule & Fees
New students are accepted throughout the year as space allows.

Classes will begin August 6th and end May 22nd. We will primarily follow all holidays and school closings of the Hart County School System. Open House will be August 1, 2026, from 6-7pm.
Daily Schedule
8:30 AM-12 PM // M-F
Drop off is 8:15-8:30 AM
Pick-up is 11:45 AM-12 PM
Daily activities include learning centers, circle time, table time (literacy, number sense, art, sensory, or fine motor skills), activity time, and recess.​
Breakfast Buddies
​Early drop-off is available from 7:40-8:15 for an additional $30/month. Advanced sign-up is required. ​
Special Activities
Each week students participate in PE, chapel, and science lab or music & movement. Each month we have events such as a field trips, special guest, holiday parties, glow party, career day, or field day.​

Curriculum
The Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) guide our teachers in planning quality learning experiences for our students. We also have a Christian curriculum (Orange) and use the Play to Learn Preschool curriculum in our learning centers.

Our Staff
Our teaching staff is highly trained, well qualified, and maintain professional standards. A deep love and commitment to children is evident. Each classroom is staffed with a lead and assistant teacher. Staff members complete at least 10 hours of professional development each year. All staff have completed a background check and are CPR and first aid certified.
